0109 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index is 0.5% higher at 3855.49, tracking Wall Street's gains last Friday. The main theme has been risk-on, Commerzbank Research analysts say in a research report. Stocks had a reprieve after a lack of new U.S. tariffs headlines and as the threat of a U.S. federal government shutdown receded, they say. Among the gainers, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding is up 1.3%, Jardine Matheson Holdings is up 0.9% and Wilmar International is 1.2% higher. Meanwhile, Mapletree Logistics Trust is down 0.8% and Singapore Airlines is 0.45% lower.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
