消息面上，第一太平发布公告，公司自联交所获悉，上市委员会已同意公司可根据第15项应用指引进行建议分拆及上市。于2025年3月17日，Maynilad已就建议分拆及上市向菲律宾证券及交易委员会及菲律宾证券交易所提交申请。预期建议分拆及上市将以发售的方式实行，包括发行新股份及╱或现有股东出售股份，视乎市场状况而定，涉及最多24.57亿股Maynilad股份，占 Maynilad于紧随建议分拆及上市完成后的经扩大已发行股本的30.45%。于紧随建议分拆及上市完成后，预期Maynilad将仍然为集团的菲律宾联号公司，而于建议分拆及上市完成后，Maynilad的业绩将继续由集团综合入账。
据悉，Maynilad为一家根据菲律宾法律注册成立的有限公司。分拆公司集团的主要业务为设立、营运及保养水务及污水系统，以及于大马尼拉地区“西部”提供卫生服务，该地区涵盖菲律宾马尼拉大都会11个城市以及菲律宾Cavite省三个城市及三个直辖市。
