据英国《每日电讯报》网站3月21日报道，美国第47任总统特朗普宣布，波音公司力压洛克希德-马丁公司，获得了制造美国空军新型F-47战斗机的合同。
消息传出后，波音公司股价上涨5%，洛克希德-马丁公司的股价下跌近6%。
对于波音来说，这一胜利标志着这家在商业和防务业务都举步维艰的公司的命运发生了逆转。
波音公司防务部门负责人史蒂夫·帕克表示：“我们认识到为美国空军设计、制造和交付第六代战斗机的重要性。”
洛克希德-马丁公司说：“为了这次任务，我们进行了公司防务部门历史上最重大的投资。虽然对这一结果感到失望，但我们相信我们提供了一个有竞争力的解决方案。”
波音的商用飞机业务一直在苦苦挣扎，它试图让其最畅销的737 MAX喷气式飞机恢复到全速生产，而其防务部门则受到空中加油机、无人机和教练机表现不佳的合同的拖累。
此前，洛克希德-马丁公司也被排除在被称为F/A-XX的美海军下一代舰载战机竞标项目之外，该款新型战机将取代自上世纪90年代起就开始服役的“超级大黄蜂”舰载战斗机。遭遇接连失败后，洛克希德-马丁在高端战斗机市场将面临不确定的未来。
