3月23日，以 “全面释放发展动能，共促全球经济稳定增长” 为主题的中国发展高层论坛2025年年会于北京开幕，为期两天，吸引来自国际组织、世界500强跨国企业及全球工商界100多位外方代表参会，围绕宏观政策与经济增长等多议题展开交流。

牛津大学马丁学院教授、原世界银行副行长伊恩・戈尔丁在论坛期间接受北京日报客户端采访，谈及对中国市场现状及未来发展的看法。他指出，中国经济持续进阶，依托14亿消费者的庞大市场、高等教育普及和可持续发展理念，市场价值不断攀升，在国内外创造众多机遇。

对于人工智能（AI）和新技术发展对中国市场及全球经济的影响，伊恩・戈尔丁持乐观态度。他认为，伴随劳动力减少、资本密集型生产增加，AI等新技术将有力推动中国在高附加值产业快速发展。

伊恩・戈尔丁还表示，外国投资者高度关注中国市场。一方面，欧洲等地经济增速放缓，凸显中国市场优势；另一方面，外国投资者在中国市场积累经验，更愿加大投资。“尽管中国在全球经济和投资中的份额有待提升，但预计未来五年经济将保持约5%的强劲增长，为国内外投资者带来良好机遇。”
