Landmark report reveals Coles and Woolworths hold too much power

A landmark ACCC report has stopped short of defining Coles and Woolworth's conduct as price gouging.

The year-long inquiry into the supermarket sector by the ACCC found the two major supermarkets wield too much power in making the cost of living harder for Australians.

The two supermarkets are using their domination to hurt competitors and ultimately hit consumers' wallets.
