智通财经APP获悉，据报道，美国总统唐纳德·特朗普将于周五宣布美国空军一项关于下一代空中优势(NGAD)计划的重要合同。NGAD项目将取代洛克希德马丁(LMT.US)的F-22战斗机，洛克希德和波音(BA.US)都在争夺这一项目。
美国国防部长皮特·赫格塞斯也将参与宣布。美国国防部将合同公告通知了美国国会国防委员会。
NGAD合同预计价值至少200亿美元，但这项为期多年的计划可能会为获胜者带来数千亿美元的工程和制造费用。新一代战斗机的详细信息仍属机密。
这项合同对波音公司至关重要。多年来，该公司的商用飞机业务一直举步维艰，包括737 Max坠机、2024年机械师罢工、裁员和生产延迟。赢得此次合同将大大提振波音，而失败将加剧其困境。
对于洛克希德马丁来说，赢得此次合同可以增加其在 F-35 和 F-22 等第五代战斗机方面的丰富经验，并进一步巩固其未来。诺斯罗普格鲁曼(NOC.US)也曾是竞争对手，但由于其专注于第六代B-21突袭者轰炸机以及海军版 NGAD(即 F/A-XX)而退出。
