Curtiss-Wright (CW) said Thursday it won multiple contracts to supply turret drive aiming and stabilization systems to Rheinmetall for the German Army's Boxer heavy weapons carrier and the Hungarian Lynx IFVs.
Under these agreements, Curtiss-Wright will deliver its scalable Turret drive stabilization system, which supports precise turret control and targeting accuracy even when vehicles move at top speed, the company said.
Curtiss-Wright's facility in Switzerland will provide the components, including modular systems and hand controllers, to support Rheinmetall in equipping the German Army's Boxer through 2029, it added.
For the Hungarian Lynx IFVs, Curtiss-Wright will supply TDSS systems and controllers through a two-phase program, with deliveries running until 2027, according to the company.
