消息面上，刚果(金)总统费利克斯·齐塞克迪19日表示，愿意与美国达成一项矿产换安全协议；刚果(金)军方3月20日证实，反政府武装“M23运动”已攻下位于该国东部北基伍省的矿业重镇瓦利卡莱镇。中信证券指出，展望后续，刚果(金)东部地区局势或仍将面临较大不确定性，事件催化可能持续。
公开资料显示，刚果(金)钴矿产量全球占比76%左右，而洛阳钼业2024年钴产量占刚果(金)总产量的50%。民生证券指出，刚果(金)钴出口禁令出来之后，市场普遍认为公司刚果(金)的主力矿山销售会受到不利影响，尽管刚果(金)外钴价上涨，但是公司无法销售，也就无法享受到钴价上涨的收益。该行指出，市场理解有两个误解；短期来看，公司业绩弹性在于钴的在途库存；中长期来看，配额制落地后钴价中枢抬升拉高远期利润。
