Westpac Banking (NZE:WBC, ASX:WBC) will roll out an anti-scam feature called SafeBlock to bar unwanted transactions, the bank said in a Monday statement.
The feature will allow customers to lock their accounts once they detect a suspected transaction, preventing scammers from causing further potential financial loss, the bank said.
The technology will be available in the coming months via the Westpac app and online banking.
