Palomar Holdings entered a definitive agreement to acquire Advanced AgProtection, a Texas crop managing general agent.
La Jolla, Calif., insurance company Palomar said Thursday the deal is expected to close during the second quarter.
Palomar first made strategic investments in AAP in 2023. AAP is focused on crop insurance for agricultural producers.
"AAP's platform will provide the infrastructure for continued growth as Palomar establishes itself as a preferred and emerging leader in the Crop marketplace," Palomar President Jon Christianson said.
