消息面上，中远海运国际将于3月26日举行董事会会议以审批全年业绩。公司去年8月发布的中期业绩显示，营业额17.53亿元，同比升8.2%；纯利3.88亿元，同比升15.5%；派中期息26.5仙，上年同期派22.5仙。
西南证券此前指出，航运业的绿色转型使得船东在船舶更新换代时考虑绿色燃料，未来相应的船舶交付之后，全市场对绿色燃料需求将有所提升。该行指出，2024年船舶涂料业务继续受惠于新船需求， 2024年上半年公司船舶涂料销售量为78795吨，实现税前收益1.4亿港元。
