张本智和不仅是世界知名的乒乓球运动员，还是早稻田大学的学生。此前，他在一次采访中曾幽默地表示，自己并不着急毕业，“反正也不会去上班的”。
如今，随着他正式加入丰田汽车，这一表态也引发了网友的热议。
张本智和在《Toyota Times Sports》的直播节目中宣布了这一消息，并首次展示了胸前印有“TOYOTA”字样的新球服。
此前，丰田汽车一直以赞助形式支持张本智和，而此次他将以正式所属选手的身份，获得更加全面的支持。
