继比亚迪(01211)配股筹资435亿港元后，小米亦开展425亿港元配股，市场担忧或引发车企配股潮，小米拟先旧后新配售8亿股股份，占紧随认购事项完成后经配发及发行认购股份扩大的已发行股本约3.1%及投票权约1.2%。每股配售价为53.25港元，较上交易日收市价57港元折让约6.6%。公司拟将认购事项的估计所得款项净额约425亿港元主要用于(a)加速业务扩张；(b)研发投资，以进一步提升科技实力；及(c)其他一般公司用途。
