March 27 - (The Insurer) - AM Specialty Insurance Company has appointed former Gallagher Bassett vice president Stefanie Milch as its new head of claims.

Milch, who has more than 25 years of experience across legal and insurance, has previously held roles at Hallmark Financial Services, Xceedance, Allied World, Ace Group and others. She is also a licensed attorney in New York and Connecticut.

In her new role, she will oversee AM Specialty’s claims operations, including the development and execution of best-in-class claims strategies across multiple lines of business. She has held leadership roles in commercial automobile liability, commercial general liability, real estate, construction defect, healthcare liability, executive and professional liability, and aviation, among others.

Additionally, she has built and led high-performing claims teams and created guidelines, performance metrics and best practices meant to drive operational efficiency and deliver strong financial results.
