南都·湾财社记者获悉，3月26日，网易游戏《燕云十六声》举办了新版本河西区域的线下前瞻体验活动。网易公司CEO丁磊现身现场，苹果公司CEO蒂姆·库克也作为活动嘉宾闪现，共同体验《燕云十六声》的新版本内容和诸多新技术适配。
据悉，当天，库克与丁磊一起感受了《燕云十六声》在新iPad上的硬件光线追踪技术。在看到游戏在iPad上的水体反射后，库克夸赞了场景的光追实机效果。
资料显示，《燕云十六声》是一款以五代十国末、北宋初期为背景的武侠角色扮演游戏，融合了中国特色武功和开放世界的玩法，由网易投资的Everstone工作室制作。
据网易2024年度财报电话会，网易CEO丁磊及公司管理层在回复投资人关注的新游表现时表示，2024年四季度《燕云十六声》上线后，四天内端游下载量突破300万次，手游上线后蝉联iOS下载榜第一位约两周。双端玩家总数在两周内突破1500万。
在电话会上网易高管表示，《燕云十六声》海外版本已经启动，希望在2025年与海外玩家见面。
