First Pacific Company (HKG:0142) PacificLight Power (PLP) awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for its new 670 MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant on Jurong Island, Singapore, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The contract, valued at approximately $564.1 million, was granted to a consortium led by Mitsubishi Power Asia Pacific and Jurong Engineering.
The project, scheduled for completion by January 2029, aims to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in Singapore's power sector.
