0659 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly lower with IG calling the OMXS30 down 0.2% at around 2568. Stock markets were hit by tariff news yesterday, with car manufacturers unsurprisingly among the losers, SEB analysts say in a note. U.S. jobless data showed the labor market is still holding up quite well, but SEB notes it is unclear when and to what extent former federal employees who have been laid off by DOGE will begin to appear in the statistics. In Asia, stock markets are under pressure on fears that the U.S. will introduce reciprocal tariffs on April 2, SEB adds. Equity market futures are pointing slightly down in Europe and slightly up in the U.S. OMXS30 closed at 2572.81, OMXN40 at 2442.44 and OBX at 1459.18. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
