Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) reported further shallow, high-grade gold intercepts from exploration diamond drilling at the BDT1 deposit at its Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results included the highest result to date of 83 meters at 4.87 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 106 meters.
They also included intercepts of 20.83 meters at 2.63 g/t grade of gold from 116.7 meters and 29.44 meters at 1.30 g/t grade of gold from 142.56 meters.
Its self-owned diamond rigs continue to drill at the project with 100,000 meters targeted in the current year. It plans to release a pre-feasibility study by the end of the year.
The firm's shares jumped 9% on market close on Thursday.
