CHICAGO, March 24 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn ticked up on Monday, while soy bids were mixed in the U.S. Midwest as market players assessed tariff risks and awaited the U.S. Department of Agriculture's grain stocks and prospective plantings reports on March 31.
* Spot soybean bids ticked up at an Ohio elevator and fell at an Illinois river terminal.
* Spot corn bids ticked up at an Ohio elevator and Iowa processor.
* Traders are monitoring tariff developments between the U.S. and its leading agricultural trading partners – Canada, Mexico and China.
* U.S.-China tariff tensions have cut soybean exports, with China retaliating by raising duties on U.S. agricultural products.
* Chicago Board of Trade May corn futures CK25 were up 1-1/4 cents at $4.65-1/2 per bushel. May soybeans SK25 were down 3/4 cent at $10.08-3/4 a bushel.
