期内，集团收入886.75亿元，同比下降10.09%，主要由于原奶供需矛盾突出、消费需求不及预期。集团期内毛利下降至350.904亿元(2023年：366.401亿元)，而得益于原奶价格下降，毛利率较去年上升2.4个百分点至39.6%(2023年：37.2%)。年内，集团附属公司贝拉米录得亏损。经审慎考虑贝拉米近年来的经营状况和财务表现并结合对未来市场的预期，集团在年内确认对贝拉米相关现金产生单位分别录得之商誉及无形资产减值亏损11.547亿元及34.901亿元；以及拨回过往年度已确认的与贝拉米相关税项亏损及暂时性差异有关的递延税项资产及负债6.634亿(此影响所得税费用)，综合对集团业绩影响为39.814亿元。公司联营公司中国现代牧业控股有限公司(“现代牧业”)年内录得商誉减值亏损为5.992亿元及其他额外减值亏损，因而录得归属于权益股东净亏损为14.168亿元；因此导致公司相应录得应占该联营公司为8.271亿元，其中有关的商誉减值亏损对集团影响为3.487亿元。
