BlockBeats News, March 26th, according to the Italian media L'Union Sarda report, Vaulta (formerly EOS) parent company Block.one's CEO and Bullish Chairman Brendan Blumer (BB) recently purchased the Romazzino villa for a record-breaking 160 million euros (approximately 172.8 million US dollars). Excluding the Villa Certosa, this transaction represents the highest amount in the real estate history of Sardinia and even Italy.

This villa located in Romazzino is one of the most luxurious homes on the Emerald Coast (Costa Smeralda) and was formerly owned by the Saudi former oil minister Ahmed Zaki Yamani. The mansion boasts 350 meters of coastline, sits on 2.3 hectares of land, features 28 bedrooms, 35 bathrooms, spacious terraces, two private beach accesses, two exclusive docks, three swimming pools, and around 23,000 square meters of gardens and amenities.

Brendan Blumer founded the online game virtual item automated trading platform Gamecliff at the age of 14. In 2010, Okay.com was launched, creating a collaborative data-sharing ecosystem for the Asia-Pacific real estate market, later evolving into Hong Kong's largest digital real estate agency. In 2017, he co-founded Block.one with Dan Larimer (BM), focusing on blockchain technology development.

BlockBeats Note: Since founder BM's departure, almost all of Block.one's core team has been BB's people. BB's mother, Nancy Kasparek, is in charge of the investment business EOSVC, while his sister, Abby Blumer, is responsible for all of Block.one's operations and marketing. The remaining executives are mostly labeled with "Iowa" (BB's hometown), "Hong Kong" (BB's workplace for fifteen years), and "real estate software development company" (BB's previous industry).
