Gujarat Ambuja Exports (NSE:GAEL, BOM:524226) started commercial production of 1,200 tonne-per-day (TPD) maize processing greenfield projects at Sitarganj in Uttarakhand, India, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
With this, the company's consolidated installed maize processing capacity has now increased to 5,200 TPD.
With this development, the Sitarganj facility has an installed crushing capacity of 1,950 TPD, native starch capacity of 800 TPD, and value-added starch derivatives capacity of 550 TPD.
