Pine Walk adds Beazley's Morgan to launch A&H MGA

By Rebecca Delaney

March 31 - (The Insurer) - The Fidelis Partnership's MGA incubator platform Pine Walk has appointed Tim Morgan to launch a new accident and health MGA.

Morgan joins from Beazley, where he was a personal accident underwriter.

The new MGA, which is currently unnamed, is expected to launch later in 2025, subject to regulatory approval.

It will target a broad portfolio of global A&H business – a new line of business for Pine Walk.

Earlier this month, Pine Walk launched international casualty MGA Sevanta Specialty Liability.

Sevanta, Pine Walk's first casualty MGA and its 12th cell overall, is led by former Sompo International head of international casualty Jon Hiller.

Pine Walk announced a number of launches in late 2024, including Silverflame Re and property-focused Seraphina.

The platform increased its gross written premiums by 11% to $900 million last year. In September 2024, Pine Walk CEO Rinku Patel told The Insurer that the MGA platform expected to surpass $1 billion in GWP in 2025.
