特斯拉上个月在法国的销量急剧下降，注册量下跌了37%，这家电动汽车制造商在欧洲市场的发展依旧艰难。根据法国汽车行业协会“汽车平台”(Plateforme Automobile)的数据，这家总部位于得克萨斯州的电动汽车制造商3月份在法国的新车注册量为3157辆。与法国整体汽车市场相比，这一下滑幅度尤为明显，同期法国汽车行业总销量下降了15%。
特斯拉2月在法国注册量也下降了26%，而1月更是锐减63%。销量下滑的原因在于首席执行官埃隆·马斯克的政治活动，以及车型换代对该地区业绩的影响。
2月，由于欧洲买家对埃隆·马斯克在美国总统唐纳德·特朗普政府中所扮演的角色表示不满，特斯拉在欧洲的新车销量也同比大幅下降40%。
当前，全球范围内出现了名为“打倒特斯拉”(Tesla Takedown)的抗议活动，示威者指责马斯克助长极右翼运动，并呼吁抵制该公司。
埃隆·马斯克今日称，计划于5月底辞去美国政府效率部(DOGE)的职务。在接受采访时，马斯克表示，有信心在离职前完成削减1万亿美元联邦赤字的目标，并强调政府效率低下、存在大量浪费和欺诈，有信心在不影响关键服务的情况下减少15%的支出。
