Legacy Minerals Holdings (ASX:LGM) said assays from a new sampling of historic diamond drill core at its Thomson project in New South Wales demonstrated the presence of large-scale intrusion-related gold systems, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The assays included intercepts of one meter at 6.73 grams per tonne grade of gold from 370 meters and a broad anomalous interval of 377 meters at 0.1 g/t grade of cold from 225 meters to 602 meters.
The zones defined from assays from historic drilling included intervals of up to 497 g/t grades of silver and 0.13 g/t grades of niobium.
A drilling campaign comprising two 600-meter holes is currently underway.
