“I’m very concerned”, said the head of HR, firmly gripping my arm and fixing me with a worried stare. She’d recently returned from a global conference with her counterparts, where she had witnessed DEI and gender equality initiatives being wound back in light of American developments.

I had just presented to her executive team the insights from Gender Compass, an audience segmentation that divides Australians into six distinct groups when it comes to gender equality.
