Wistron (TPE:3231) has earmarked $45 million to establish a unit in the US, called Wistron InfoComm (USA).
The investment will be fully funded by Wistron's cash reserves, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The decision aligns with its long-term expansion plans. The move will support the electronics manufacturer's business development and strategic growth.
