National Health Investors Commits $63.5 Million to Senior Living Portfolio

National Health Investors (NHI) said Wednesday that it has invested $63.5 million, including transaction costs, to acquire six memory care facilities in Nebraska.
The portfolio includes 205 units operated by Agemark Senior Living under the CountryHouse brand, which specializes in services for residents with memory-related conditions, the company said.
The properties are covered by a master lease with an initial 15-year term and two five-year extension options, the company said.
The deal is expected to yield an initial return of 8% with annual fixed increases, the company said.
