智通财经APP获悉，稳定币发行商Circle Internet Group周二向美国证券交易委员会(SEC)提交了首次公开募股(IPO)申请。市场目前预计，该公司可能会筹集至多7.5亿美元。该公司计划在纽交所上市，股票代码为“CRCL”。该公司并未披露定价条款。
据悉，成立于2013年的Circle已成为全球最大稳定币发行商Tether的最大竞争对手。多年来，Circle通过强调其比Tether受到更多监管并提供更大的储备透明度来实现差异化。稳定币是与另一种资产(通常是美元)挂钩的加密货币。根据IPO申请文件显示，截至3月28日，Circle发行的美元支持USDC稳定币流通量为600亿美元。此外，该公司截至2024年12月31日的12个月收入为17亿美元。
