BRP (DOOO) agreed to sell its 100% stake in aluminum boat manufacturer Telwater to Yamaha Motor unit Yamaha Motor Australia, the companies said in separate statements.
The financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Telwater includes the businesses of brands such as Quintrex, Stacer and Savage. The sale is part of BRP's strategy to focus its efforts and investments on its core powersports activities, it said late Monday.
The deal, which requires approval from regulators, is expected to be completed in BRP's Q2 of fiscal 2026.
