PANews 4月7日消息，据Bitcoin.com报道，比特币技术公司Block首席执行官Jack Dorsey在Presidio Bitcoin的“21 in 21”播客中表示，比特币虽发展至今，但仍可能失败，原因在于它可能失去解决最初设计问题的相关性。
Dorsey认为，比特币若想在日常生活中保持重要性，就必须成为一种支付手段，否则人们只会在紧急或变现时才想起它。他强调，支付是推动比特币采用、避免其失败的关键因素。比特币支持者需打造简单、易用的支付体验，实现规模化与快速化，与Visa和万事达卡网络竞争。
此外，Dorsey还批评了比特币的闪电网络，这个面向微交易的Layer2协议虽有其价值，但存在挑战。他呼吁对比特币开放，推出更多互补协议，注重易用性和实用性。在他看来，比特币在支付领域的发展至关重要，只有成为日常支付手段，才能避免因失去相关性而走向失败，支付或将成为比特币未来发展的关键转折点。
