智通财经APP获悉，亿万富翁迈克尔·诺沃格拉茨旗下的加密货币集团银河数码控股有限公司(Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd)周一宣布，已获得在纳斯达克证券交易所直接上市的许可，预计在特别股东大会结束后不久即可开始交易。批准此次重组的特别股东大会将于5月9日召开。若获得股东批准以及多伦多证券交易所的同意，银河数码预计将以股票代码GLXY在纳斯达克挂牌上市。
该公司在一份新闻稿中宣布，美国证券交易委员会已批准其注册申请，同意公司从开曼群岛迁至特拉华州，并在纳斯达克上市。银河数码提供从交易到资产管理等一系列服务。该公司目前在加拿大市场进行上市交易，多年来一直寻求美股上市。此次登陆纳斯达克后，该公司也将继续在多伦多证券交易所挂牌。
银河数码是众多试图通过直接上市或首次公开募股(IPO)在美国上市的加密货币公司之一。但在乔·拜登总统对加密货币的严厉监管下，这一进程困难重重。唐纳德·特朗普总统上任后，许多公司终于启动了上市计划，然而近期特朗普关税政策引发的市场动荡，却给首次公开募股市场泼了冷水。交易平台eToro集团有限公司已暂停了其首次公开募股的筹备工作。
