智通财经APP讯，嘉利国际(01050)发布公告，于2025年4月2日，美国政府宣布，将对与美国存在最大贸易逆差的国家施加额外对等关税，预期将对全球出口商造成重创。在其众多环球贸易伙伴中，美国政府宣布会对中国商品征收特别高的额外关税，继而实际上大幅提高中国商品的应缴关税总额。
董事会一直密切监察全球经济及地缘政治风险以及该等风险对集团业务和营运造成的相关影响。直接输往美国且须缴纳关税的货物占集团截至2025年3月31日止年度总收入约1%。
近年来，为确保集团全球供应实力，作为集团实施国际布局战略计划的一环，集团已在泰国设立生产基地，使之与其在中国内地长久以来的国内产能相得益彰。该项战略举措让集团得以分散来自不同地理区域的相关风险。截至本公布日期，董事会认为新措施不会对集团的业务和营运造成重大不利影响。
