Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) repurchased for cancellation 508,986 ordinary shares, according to a Tuesday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
The company acquired 317,152 ordinary shares on New Zealand's Stock Exchange at an average price of NZ$0.577 each and 191,834 ordinary shares on the Australian Securities Exchange for an average price of AU$0.525 apiece.
The company's shares rose 1% on the Australian bourse in recent Tuesday trade.
