Vincerx Terminates Merger Attempt, Initiates Wind-Down

Vincerx has terminated its previously announced intent to merge with Global Digital Holdings and is now winding down operations.

The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company said Tuesday its board has authorized management to initiate a wind-down and continue exploring monetization of assets and out-licensing opportunities.

Acting Chief Executive Raquel Izumi said unprecedented, adverse market dynamics prevented the company from continuing the developments of its programs.
