新华财经圣保罗4月9日电（记者杨家和）巴西总统卢拉当地时间7日宣布，丹麦制药公司诺和诺德将投资64亿雷亚尔（约10.85亿美元）扩建其位于蒙特斯克拉鲁斯市的工厂，这是巴西历史上私营制药公司最大单笔投资。
卢拉在参观诺和诺德位于巴西东南部米纳斯吉拉斯州蒙特斯克拉鲁斯的工厂时表示，巴西拥有稳定的政治、法律和经济社会环境以吸引国际投资。
卢拉强调了当地市场的可预测性和统一医疗系统（SUS）的作用，该系统被认为是巴西最大的药品购买者。
诺和诺德扩建工厂旨在提高肥胖症、糖尿病和其他严重慢性疾病患者注射药物的生产能力，将引入新的无菌生产流程、新仓库和质量控制实验室。
该工厂扩建工作已开始，预计于2028年完工，将再创造600个就业机会。
诺和诺德在丹麦、美国、法国、中国和比利时等国家设厂，生产全球近一半胰岛素，自1990年起在巴西开展业务，其行政总部位于圣保罗，工厂位于米纳斯吉拉斯州。
