LG CNS (KRX:064400) signed a deal worth 130 billion with Mirae Asset Life Insurance (KRX:085620) to develop a next-generation AI system, Pulse News reported Tuesday.
Over the next two years, LG CNS will build a generative AI platform and multi-hybrid cloud infrastructure while upgrading the insurer's business systems. The AI platform, trained on Mirae Asset Life's internal data, will help in the efficient access of information. The two firms also plan to jointly develop new AI business models, the report said.
Shares of LG CNS fell nearly 1% in recent trade on Wednesday while those of Mirae Asset Life Insurance increased over 1%.
