智通财经APP获悉，据报道，本田汽车公司(HMC.US)正考虑将部分汽车生产从墨西哥和加拿大转移到美国;为了应对美国新的汽车关税，这家日本汽车制造商的目标是在美国销售的汽车90%都在当地生产。作为对美国关税计划的回应，本田计划在未来数年内将美国汽车产量提高30%。
目前，本田在美国的年销量为142万辆，其中100万辆已经在美国生产。通过在当地增加30%的产量，该汽车制造商将能够在美国生产相当于当地销量90%的汽车。在加拿大生产的CR-V SUV和思域轿车的生产将转移到美国。业内人士预计，本田将以更高的价格将在美国制造的更高成本转嫁给消费者，尤其是在汽车零部件关税延长的情况下。
