DXN (ASX:DXN) secured its first data center as a service agreement with a US-based satellite provider to design, build, and deploy prefabricated infrastructure at an initial site in Northern Territory, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The five-year contract, valued at AU$3.6 million, includes an upfront payment of AU$600,000, and recurring revenue for ongoing maintenance and management services, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose 17% on market close.
