智通财经APP获悉，香港财政司司长陈茂波在世界互联网大会亚太峰会主论坛致辞时指出，各国政府和监管机构面临日益严峻的挑战，包括网络安全、数据隐私及跨境监管等，而更迫切的问题是数码碎片化。他指出，随着AI+时代的来临，香港将通过深化AI在各行各业的融合，将AI发展为核心产业，重点发展算力、算法、数据、资金和人才五大范畴，同时致力于将香港打造成全球AI交流枢纽，推动对话、研究合作等。
他还提到，为确保互联网健康和包容发展，需要优先解决数码治理、缩小数码鸿沟等问题。培养数码人才在AI时代是必不可少的。香港正与腾讯(00700)、阿里巴巴(09988)、商汤(00020)、联想集团(00992），以及科学园和数码港的初创企业等科技公司紧密合作，提供技术培训及分享创业经历，以激发下一代的兴趣。
他认为，数码时代的挑战与机遇超越国界，需要更多的对话、共享与合作，推动互联网、AI等新兴科技的发展，为人类共同利益作出贡献。
