中新网4月14日电 综合美国有线电视新闻网(CNN)和英国广播公司(BBC)报道，当地时间4月13日，美国宾夕法尼亚州州长夏皮罗的官邸发生一场火灾。目前，当地警方已将嫌疑人拘留。

据报道，警方称，初步调查显示这是一起纵火行为。嫌疑人为一名38岁的男子。夏皮罗表示，此事是有针对性的，但嫌疑人的具体动机尚不清楚。

当地官员表示，嫌疑人科迪·巴尔默可能将被指控犯有谋杀未遂、恐怖主义、严重纵火和针对特定人员的严重袭击罪。

警方声明说，夏皮罗及其家人在火灾发生后安全撤离，火灾没有造成人员受伤。火灾已被扑灭，但官邸部分区域受损严重。

报道介绍，夏皮罗曾担任宾夕法尼亚州检察长，后于2023年起担任宾夕法尼亚州州长，是2028年美国总统选举民主党总统候选人的可能人选。
