阿根廷经济学家Adrian Gutierrez认为，阿根廷比索贬值是政府实行区间浮动汇率的必然结果，因为这意味着政府大幅放宽汇率管制。此前，阿根廷采取的汇率制度是使货币以每月约1%的速度缓慢贬值。未来，随着阿根廷农矿业出口高峰期到来，比索汇率可能走强。此外，阿根廷政府今年预计将获得大量国际融资，具备维持汇率基本稳定的能力。
