1001 ET - U.S. natural gas futures are lower as spring weather limits both heating and cooling demand, favoring inventory builds. Nymex prices appear fair on an injection season-long basis, but "bearish risks may be frontloaded into the shoulder season," Eli Rubin of EBW Analytics says in a note. "Speculator longs forced out of positions during the past two weeks may be looking for signs of a firmer bottom before slowly reentering the market." Nymex gas is off 2.1% at $3.258/mmBtu.(anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
