Promisia Healthcare Appoints New COO, Secures Approval for Dementia Care Wing

Promisia Healthcare (NZE:PHL) appointed Graeme Dodd as chief operating officer effective June 9, according to a Monday New Zealand bourse filing.

The firm secured approval from Health New Zealand-Te Whatu Ora for the operation of a 20-bed dementia care wing at its Nelson Street facility, including the conversion of current unoccupied rest home beds into dedicated dementia care beds.

A clinical audit at the facility for formal certification is scheduled for early May.

Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Monday.
