OpenLearning (ASX:OLL) partnered with Education Center of Australia (ECA Group) to acquire the Employability Advantage business, a provider of digital work-readiness content and experiential learning programs, according to an April 11 filing with the Australian bourse.
The Australian Securities Exchange granted the company a waiver to allow the acquisition from ECA Investments Group without shareholder approval, subject to certain disclosures, for a total consideration of AU$1, the filing said.
ECA Group holds 100% of the capital in ECA Investments Group, which is controlled by a substantial shareholder in the company, per the filing.
