Korean Air Lines (KRX:003490) entered into a partnership with US security firm Axon for specialized air taser instructor training, Pulse News reported Thursday.
The three-day program in Seoul included virtual reality-based and scenario-driven exercises tailored for in-flight security situations. Instructors from Korean Air, Asiana (KRX:020560), and Jin Air (KRX:272450) will now train flight attendants to enhance their response to in-flight threats, the report said.
Shares of Jin Air rose more than 4% in recent trade on Friday.
