消息面上，巨子生物宣布，先旧后新配售3500万股，占扩大后股本3.27%，每股配售价66.65港元，较上一日收盘价73.65港元折让9.5%，所得款项净额预期合共约为22.94亿港元，拟用于核心业务的发展及生态圈布局，包括但不限于品牌推广、市场营销、品类扩展、海外业务及研发投入；及补充流动资金及作一般企业用途。
公告称，本次配售及认购募集资金到位后，将增强集团的资金实力、市场竞争力及综合实力，促进集团长远健康及可持续发展。配售及认购亦将透过吸引若干高品质机构投资者进一步丰富公司股东基础，并且通过配售进一步加强股份流动性。认购股份将根据一般授权配发及发行。
