近日有媒体报道称,美团(03690)旗下即时零售平台小象超市(原美团买菜)重启线下门店计划,首批门店或将落地北京、杭州、广州和深圳,目标今年5月开出首店。
目前,工程、营运等岗位招聘已经启动。招聘信息显示,有岗位要求具备全国连锁业态的零售经验。
美团对线下零售的探索始于2016年,自阿里(09988)推出“盒马鲜生”后,美团曾派出多个团队考察其商业模式。2017年,美团首家线下生鲜店“掌鱼生鲜”开业,后升级为“小象生鲜”。
此后,美团转向线上,推出“美团买菜”,2023年升级为全品类“小象超市”,覆盖30个一二线城市,前置仓超800座,SKU超1万种,2024年GMV接近300亿元。目前小象超市的日订单量突破200万单,市占率在北上市场近20%。
2024年,盒马新增72家门店并加速下沉,京东(09618)旗下的京东七鲜计划2025年在天津新增20家仓店,山姆、奥乐齐等外资品牌亦加码社区折扣业态。若美团能依托全国配送网络与百万骑手资源,实现“线上下单-门店拣货-即时配送”闭环,或可开辟差异化路径。
