Leader Environmental's (SGX:LS9) wholly owned subsidiary, United Greentech (Guangzhou), secured a 72 million yuan build-operate-transfer contract to treat municipal sludge from wastewater treatment plants in Henan, China.
United Greentech will jointly work on the project alongside Econ Technology and Tangyin County Lingjia Huan Bao, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.
The plant will have a treatment capacity of 100 tons per day.
Shares of the company were up over 5% in recent trading.
