Great Wall Pan Asia Gets New Controlling Shareholder

Central Huijin Investment has become a controlling shareholder of Great Wall Pan Asia (HKG:0583) after the transfer of 37,670,043,600 shares in the latter's controlling shareholder China Great Wall Asset Management was completed, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

The shares, previously held by China's Ministry of Finance, were transferred to Central Huijin Investment at no cost.

Following the transfer, Central Huijin Investment now holds a 73.53% equity interest in China Great Wall Asset Management, which in turn holds a 74.89% stake in media firm Great Wall Pan Asia.
